What happens when the government reduces education to the least common denominator?

You get an educational system that is the perfect vehicle for historical revisionism and atheism. You are taught that the Founders of our country were atheists and deists, despite the overwhelming evidence that they were firmly steeped and established in a Christian worldview.

NYT.com –East Hampton Chafes Under Influx of Immigrants
    By ELIZABETH A. HARRIS

They don’t have an image of illegal immigrants packed like sardines into houses.”

East Hampton, she continued, “is a great place to live, but we have troubles.”

When one thinks of the Hamptons, what jumps to mind are masters of the universe and their mansions by the sea. But a strong, steady stream of immigrants has been flowing to the area for years, drawn by a service economy that demands hedges be trimmed and houses be cleaned. In the Springs, a hamlet in the town of East Hampton, where most of the houses are small and the year-round population is relatively large, the Hispanic population has tripled in the past 10 years — and tension has emerged. Some longtime residents of the Springs and similar areas complain that homes are being illegally crowded, that houses with half a dozen cars parked outside are a blight on the street, and that the many children living inside are overwhelming the local schools and causing property taxes to rise.
THANK YOU FOR THIS INTERVIEW. THE ABOVE ARTICLE IS A SHINNING EXAMPLE OF THE NEED TO RETURN TO THE WAY BACK, King Jesus. This interview was profound, just profound and I enjoyed it so much here in Arkansas.

I wanted to add: Leslie Marshall says “she is a Believer. People have no time for God and they are not taking the time to teach their children about God.” Also films, public schools are partial to the blame as per Bill O’Reilly, author of the book The Culture Warriors. (The young people are drifting away from God.) July 2012
People need to know also that we must keep the foundation of this nation Christian being faithful to King Jesus.
Case in point:: Book – ” THE IMPOSSIBLE STATE, NORTH KOREA PAST AND FUTURE BY Victor Cha (2012) AUTHOR VICTOR CHA also, writes: Pg. 15 The world knows very little about North Korea. There is probably no society more closed off from the world today, not even Burma, Syria rival the level of control found tin this country. Pg. 166 The only reason that we cannot claim that North Korea is the worst human rights disaster in the world today is because we are not allowed to see the extent of it. The victims are faceless and nameless, whether they are forced to study Kim II-sungism, banished to live in gulags or tortured and executed for trying to escape the country. Pg. 73 – Over two thousand Buddhist temples and Christian churches were burned. Kim was replacing God with himself in the minds of the North Koreans. Through destroying others, he made himself the Creator of everything material and spiritual in the North Korean state. Nothing existed before him. State propaganda thereafter referred to Kim as superior to Christ in love, Buddha in benevolence, Confucius in virtue, and Mohammed in justice.”

As for me this is the interview of 2012 –Independence Day: Were America’s Founders Really Deists and Atheists? with Roger Schultz – Episode 109 Case in point: We need to seek Jesus for advice NOT a palm reader – July 3, 2012 at 8:14 PM –Arrest in King County after elderly woman is bilked of $1 million
The case involving a now-85-year-old Seattle woman began in summer 2007, when the woman went to a street fair and paid Nicholas $30 to read her palm,
King County prosecutors have filed 54 criminal charges against Brenda Nicholas, most in connection to her alleged theft of more than $1 million from an elderly Seattle woman. Nicholas, 46, and two co-defendants have also been charged for allegedly duping three Seattle-area landlords, then failing to pay rent and stealing pricey items from the rental residences.

And, here is another case in point, Americans have lost their way, and many are now worshiping gambling and playing the sweepstakes rather than a life devoted to King Jesus:
Elder Fraud: One Couple’s Losses and Hard Lessons
By ALLEN G. BREED AP National Writer RALEIGH, N.C.
Elder fraud: A look inside one scammed couple’s case, as losses and bitter lessons mount The Associated Press With their elderly parents seated across the octagonal oak table, Donna and Jim Parker were back in the kitchen they knew so well — the hutch along one wall crammed with plates, bells and salt-and-pepper shakers picked up during family trips; at the table’s corner, the spindly wooden high chair where a 7-year-old Jim had tearfully confessed to setting a neighbor’s woods ablaze. It was Christmastime, but this was no holiday gathering. Now, it was the parents who were in deep trouble, and this was an intervention. For the past year, Charles and Miriam Parker, both 81, had been in the thrall of an international sweepstakes scam. The retired educators, with a half-dozen college degrees between them, had lost tens of thousands of dollars.

I read this great book years ago and learned the following:

North Dakota Centenarians by Everett C Albers, the author writes: (pg. ix) “Winnie DeKrey of Bismarck is most proud of being able to pay off the debt of the farm, in spite of hard times. “I came from frugal folk, she says. Not only did her parents not spend foolishly, they got along with that they had until they had money to buy what they needed.’” Winnie and many others made a distinction between need and want – between being satisfied with what you need, not wanting what you do not need. The pleasures most remembered by North Dakota centenarians are simple, indeed. In fact, they echo the sentiment, “The best things in life are free” – with the possible exception of the yarn and thread necessary to the great hobby of North Dakota women………….

The time is now. Even Messianic Paul Nison, author is calling for Raw Food Leaders- Repent!

    Subject: Raw Food Leaders- Repent!
Good Morning, This message is to all the raw food teachers.
Raw Life Inc, P.O. Box 16156, West Palm Beach, FL 33416
I listened to his podcast this morning and his message is excellent in that he is now naming names, raw food leaders Doug Graham, Dave Wolfe, Matt Monarch and others, who are deceiving the people living a life not dedicated to King Jesus. Many of these folks have sold products that do not work and someone is now in court.

Gambling is the favorite past time, even for immigrants. Case in point:

NYT.com — Gambling Den, or Mah-Jongg Club? Raid Reveals Culture Divide By KIRK SEMPLE and JEFFREY E. SINGER

Dozens of federal and local law enforcement officers recently descended on a six-story commercial building in Chinatown, wielding weapons and search warrants. They arrested seven people in what they called a crackdown on a hive of criminality.
He said he intended to replace them with language schools, after-school programs and a center for elderly immigrants. He has also posted signs with a single admonition, in all capital letters: “No Gambling.” A top immigration official declared that the building, at 35-37 East Broadway, was linked to a Chinese criminal gang and harbored one of the largest illegal gambling operations uncovered in New York City’s recent history. The Manhattan district attorney said two earlier raids there had found similar wrongdoing. The United States attorney in Manhattan sued for forfeiture of the building. But since the raid, on May 21, interviews throughout the building, including with several of those arrested, have offered an alternate view of the activity inside. Workers and customers described 35-37 East Broadway not as an underground casino but as a home for run-of-the-mill businesses and social clubs catering to immigrant laborers and retirees from Fujian Province in China. The gambling, they said, was friendly, low-stakes games of mah-jongg and cards. Their assertions seemed to be bolstered by the relatively minor gambling cases stemming from the raid. The defendants — all middle-age or older immigrants — face only misdemeanor charges. They include a 78-year-old woman who manages a Fujianese women’s association on the third floor.
