More Tips For Raising Pigs

Pigs fed meat can and will get extremely mean. Having had the benefit of tasting meat, it will make them want it, and they will go after anything they can eat if it gets into their pen. I have had 3 pigs turn like this in my lifetime. So, it really is pig dependent. Also, you only really need to worry about fixing male piglets, and only because if left intact the meat will have a strong taste of boar to it. Yes, a boar will go through an electric fence if it is not maintained, but I have never had one go through a fence that has the right amount of juice on it. Pigs are wonderful animals, and can be extremely enjoyable to have, but they can also cause a lot of damage if not properly cared for.
