Even More Old-Time Folk Remedies

Camomile tea is good to get rid of eye infection when rubbed across the eyes with a saturated cotton ball.

Plain yogurt worn on a sanitary pad is good for treating a woman’s yeast infection. Eating yogurt on a regular basis helps keep yeast infections away.

Rubbing your elbows with half lemons keeps them soft and pink.

Dry and rough hands or feet? Cover with Vaseline and wear gloves or socks and sleep the night with it.

For bee stings, mix a little meat tenderizer with a few drops of water to make a thin paste. After removing the stinger (scraping the area with a credit card will usually get rid of it) gently rub the paste into the wound. Repeat as necessary until the pain subsides. The meat tenderizer breaks down the protein in the venom.
