The debate over hydraulic fracturing’s impact on America’s water supply is a heated one, and the Environmental Protection Agency added fuel to the argument in early June by issuing a long-awaited report that both sides of the issue said supported their cause.

The question, then, remains: Is fracking polluting the nation’s water supply, and if so, on what scale?

That’s the topic of this week’s edition of Off The Grid Radio, as Scott Anderson and Nichole Saunders of the non-profit group Environmental Defense Fund join us.

They start by giving us a “Fracking 101” class — and then provide the information you need to know if you’re concerned about the safety of your drinking water.

Anderson and Saunders also point us to additional resources to use if you are one of the millions of Americans that live near a fracked well. If you are concerned about the safety of your water, this is one show you don’t want to miss.
