Report Ordered By Obama Reveals Guns Help Victims

A gun control report ordered by President Barack Obama in January will surely disappoint liberals who feel firearms are the root cause of violent crime in America.  The Priorities for Research to Reduce the Threat of Firearm-Related Violence report stated that victims who tried to defend themselves with a gun were far less likely to be injured during an attack. The study also revealed that gun crime occurs most often among urban youth and that suicides account for a significant number of gun related deaths each year. The CDC and Institute of Medicine and National Research Council authored gun report also detailed a disturbing suggestion which could lead to our Second Amendment rights being bantered about as a public health issue.
