Live Canning with The SheChef: Lovely Pineapples!

Please observe caution and sanitation – please refer to your canning book and always double check times for pints and quarts – Watch your p’s and Q’s (pints and quarts). Taste the pineapple before you can it – it should be fresh and sweet – don’t let them sit too long on your counter or they will go bad.

4 fresh pineapples
4 cups sugar
12-13 cups water
2 tbsp lemon juice
pineapple cores

hot water bath canner
8 jars
8 pairs lids and rings
jar funnel
jar lifter
magnetic lifter
cooling rack
