The Hidden Health Toll of 4G, 5G, and Vaccines

In today’s hyper-connected world, faster internet and high-tech lifestyles are usually sold as progress. We’re told 4G and 5G mean better streaming, smarter cities, and more convenience. But while most of us are busy enjoying these perks, a growing number of researchers are asking: what’s the real cost to our health?

One scientist, Anders Brunstad, has been digging into the numbers and his findings aren’t exactly comforting. He argues that rollouts of wireless technologies—especially 4G and 5G—combined with modern vaccine campaigns, have lined up with shocking spikes in deaths and even drops in fertility.

Whether you agree with every conclusion or not, his work raises questions that deserve more than a shrug. Let’s break it down in plain language.

What “Excess Mortality” Really Means

Before diving in, it’s good to understand a key term: excess mortality. Think of it as the number of people dying beyond what you’d normally expect in a given place and time. If a country usually sees 100,000 deaths a year, but suddenly records 120,000, that extra 20,000 is considered “excess.”

Brunstad’s research shows big jumps in these numbers during the years when 4G and 5G were rolled out, and during recent vaccine pushes. He’s not the only one watching these patterns, but his studies go further back in history and tie together technology, biology, and public health in ways most people haven’t considered.

The Numbers That Raise Eyebrows

Brunstad and his colleagues point to some pretty stark statistics:

  • From 2011 to 2022, global excess mortality rose about 160%.
  • Between the rollout of 4G, the launch of 5G, and the COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, estimates suggest 132 to 140 million extra deaths worldwide could be linked.
  • Cities with dense 5G coverage—like New York—have reported two to three times higher excess deaths compared to rural areas with little or no 5G.
  • Rural places, often with spotty wireless coverage, saw almost no increase in excess deaths during the same period.

Those numbers alone are enough to make anyone wonder whether our race toward more connectivity comes with invisible strings attached.

The City vs. Country Divide

In Norway, for example, Bergen—a city with heavy 4G and 5G exposure—saw a 25% jump in death rates among people over 80. Yet nearby rural communities without 5G basically saw no increase at all.

One of the clearest pieces of evidence Brunstad highlights is the urban-rural gap. In Norway, for example, Bergen—a city with heavy 4G and 5G exposure—saw a 25% jump in death rates among people over 80. Yet nearby rural communities without 5G basically saw no increase at all.

In New York State, the pattern repeats. Large urban counties with wall-to-wall 5G showed over 90% excess deaths in certain age groups, while rural counties were closer to 10%.

Why such a difference? Brunstad suggests it comes down to density. City living means you’re surrounded by cell towers, antennas, and more personal device use. Every time you stream, scroll, or carry your phone in your pocket, you’re adding to your personal radiation load.

Looking Back: Tech Rollouts and Health Crises

What makes Brunstad’s research especially intriguing is how he zooms out over the last 150 years. Instead of only looking at today’s numbers, he traces health crises alongside the birth of new technologies.

  • Late 1800s electrification: As power lines went up, mortality spiked by over a million excess deaths.
  • 1918 AM radio: Its launch overlaps with the deadly flu pandemic that killed tens of millions.
  • 1950s–60s FM and microwave: These higher-frequency waves appeared alongside rises in chronic diseases and unexplained deaths.
  • 3G and SARS-1: A pattern of tech and outbreaks lining up.
  • 4G and swine flu: Another overlap of wireless rollout and global health problems.

Brunstad’s point isn’t that technology is the only factor. But when you see the timing, it’s hard not to at least ask if there’s more to the story than viruses and vaccines alone.

How Radiation Works in the Body

So what is electromagnetic radiation, anyway? In simple terms, it’s energy that moves in waves. Everything from radio stations to your Wi-Fi router to your phone gives off these waves.

5G, in particular, uses high-frequency millimeter waves. These interact with the body differently than the lower frequencies of old AM or FM radio.

Studies Brunstad cites show several possible biological effects:

  • Oxygen transport issues: Birds near radar towers, for example, showed blood cell damage that made it hard for them to carry oxygen—almost like suffocating without being choked.
  • Neurological changes: Increases in autism diagnoses and mental health struggles have cropped up after new tech phases and certain vaccine campaigns.
  • Reproductive harm: Fertility rates drop sharply in cities heavy with 5G exposure.
  • Metallic amplification: Vaccines that contain metals like aluminum or graphene oxide could, in theory, act like tiny conductors, making EMR’s effects inside the body worse.

Vaccines in the Crosshairs

One of the more controversial aspects of Brunstad’s research is the role of vaccines. He doesn’t treat them as the sole culprit but rather as a piece of the puzzle.

Some studies claim metallic nanoparticles—like graphene oxide—are present in COVID-19 vaccines. If true, that means the body might essentially become more sensitive to electromagnetic radiation. Combined with constant wireless exposure, this could explain why mortality spikes were often higher in vaccinated urban populations.

Historically, vaccines like polio and flu shots also appeared alongside major tech rollouts, hinting at a layered interaction rather than a simple “virus equals deaths” narrative.

Fertility Drops: The Silent Crisis

Maybe the most sobering finding in Brunstad’s work is the fertility decline. In cities buzzing with electromagnetic radiation, birth rates have fallen by half—or even completely collapsed—in just five or six years.

Meanwhile, rural communities with no fiber optic internet or heavy wireless infrastructure saw stable or even slightly rising birth rates.

For example, rural upstate New York counties reported steady fertility numbers while urban New York City was struggling with steep declines.

If this trend holds, it’s not just a health issue—it’s a social one. Entire populations could shift dramatically depending on where people live and how exposed they are.

What You Can Do to Protect Yourself

Even if you don’t buy every detail of Brunstad’s conclusions, it doesn’t hurt to take simple steps to lower your exposure and boost your resilience.

Cut back on EMR where you can. Hard-wire your internet with an Ethernet cable instead of relying on Wi-Fi. Keep your phone off your body, especially near your reproductive organs. Turn off routers at night and cut back on endless streaming.

Push back on local 5G towers. Communities have successfully slowed or stopped antenna installations, especially near schools, hospitals, and residential neighborhoods. Asking for proper risk assessments is a reasonable demand.

Strengthen your body’s defenses. Brunstad suggests vitamin D—particularly important for older folks and during the darker winter months—can reduce mortality risks. A good diet, solid sleep with WIFI off, and mindful supplementation all add layers of protection.

Stay informed. Independent scientists like Brunstad are putting out studies that don’t always make the news. Following their work gives you a wider perspective than just the official line.

Why This Awareness Matters

At the heart of this research is a simple message: health crises aren’t only about germs. They’re about the environments we live in, the technologies we adopt, and the policies we allow.

Brunstad’s work pushes us to consider that pandemics, infertility, and rising death rates may be linked to man-made changes in our surroundings. If true, that changes the way we view both history and the future.

What’s Next for This Research

Brunstad is preparing books that will lay out his findings in more detail, with the goal of making the data understandable for regular people, not just scientists. Meanwhile, groups like the Independent Narrative Research Initiative are forming to investigate these issues outside the usual medical and regulatory channels.

With 5G spreading fast and talk of even higher-frequency networks on the horizon, this conversation isn’t going away. Governments and corporations are pushing smart cities and the Internet of Things. The question is: will our health keep up, or will we pay the price later?

Final Thoughts

The debate over 4G, 5G, and vaccines is messy, heated, and often political. But Brunstad’s findings should at least make us pause. If mortality and fertility really are shifting this dramatically, ignoring it won’t help.

At the very least, each of us can make personal choices—whether it’s reducing exposure, asking more questions about what’s in vaccines, or pressing leaders for safer standards. Awareness is the first step toward action.

Progress doesn’t have to mean sacrificing health. But it does require honesty about what’s happening in the background of our connected lives.
