Raw Milk Regulations and Transparency: Who Needs Them, and Why?

In the past few weeks, you may have asked yourselves,”Why should I care about Raw Milk regulations? I don’t drink raw milk.”

It’s the Process, IDPH providing a little transparency when caught trying to formulate law for the sale of raw milk behind producers’ backs. IDPH Division Chief says they do not operate under the State of Illinois sunshine laws. The Prairie Advocate and raw milk producers and consumers think otherwise.

Over 100 citizens attended the “work group” that Molly Lamb says has no authority. Consumers and producers ask why fix something that isn’t broken?
