Soon the only place to get healthcare in America will be from corporations. This will include some of the nation’s largest retailers, including Walmart, Kroger, CVS Caremark, and Target, which are among the giant retailers adding clinics to their stores. It will be impossible for doctors in private practice or even group practice to compete with such corporate giants. The companies hope to profit because it will be easy for anybody to get insurance through the health insurance exchanges. The Washington Post reported that the federal government will not verify the information of applicants – such as income — for the health insurance credit.
