Sadly, there is mass misinformation being spread throughout the mainstream media about the ongoing measles outbreak.
Time and time again, doctors and others have appeared on television to say the measles virus was eradicated back in 2000. This, though, is erroneous and false, as the CDC’s own data shows. There have been many outbreaks of the disease since 2000. Below is a chart from the CDC that shows the various cases since 2001.
There is a long list of why parents choose not to vaccinate – and it is not just due to the risks of autism.
Vaccine ingredients are scary, are often not completely tested, are sometimes derived in unethical ways, and are not completely safe. This is true of the MMR vaccine, too.
Ingredient List for the MMR Vaccine
Below is a list of ingredients found in the current MMR vaccine. People may argue that there are only a “small amount” of these ingredients, but the truth of the matter is that even a small amount can do large amounts of harm.
WI-38 human diploid lung fibroblasts – This ingredient was made using aborted babies. This is a severe ethical issue for many.
MRC-5 cells – This ingredient, like WI-38, was made using aborted babies.
Sucrose – Has been linked to various insulin issues, as well as mood swings. Product is derived from sugar cane and sugar beets, all of which may be genetically modified.
Hydrolyzed gelatin – Made from animal byproducts. Some studies have expressed concern over spongiform encephalitis transfer.
Sorbitol – Can cause gastrointestinal problems, allergic reactions and more. Can be derived from GMO corn.
Monosodium L-glutamate – MSG has been linked to migraines, cancers, diminished brain function and stomach issues.

Sodium phosphate dibasic – Has been known to cause gastrointestinal issues and kidney problems, as well as allergic reactions.
Human albumin – Protein from human blood plasma. This ingredient can cause an allergic reaction.
Sodium bicarbonate – Can cause gastrointestinal issues and an allergic reaction.
Potassium phosphate monobasic – Can cause headache, dizziness, diarrhea, muscle cramps and serious allergic reactions.
Potassium chloride – Can cause serious reactions including paralysis, seizures and loss of movement. Can also cause a severe allergic reaction.
Potassium phosphate dibasic – Can cause stomach issues and can lead to an allergic reaction.
Neomycin – This is one of the more potentially deadly ingredients in the vaccine. The drug itself has a severe warning that it can cause a toxic reaction. Renal function, heart function and neurological function failure has been seen with neomycin. This toxicity is often delayed and may come about long after consuming the neomycin.
Bovine calf serum – The use of this ingredient has raised some concern for allergic reactions as well as transmission of viruses and other illnesses that the bovine may have.
Chick embryo cell culture – This ingredient can cause severe allergic reaction, especially in those with egg sensitivities. This can happen even if the child or person has never shown any type of allergy to egg before.
As you can see, there is more to the conversation than just autism (although that is a significant reason, too). Many of these ingredients are very concerning to parents.
While the theory behind vaccines sounds like a good idea, for many parents they simply are too dangerous to inject in a child now. There have been many cases where diseases have occurred even when the child has been vaccinated.
In fact, in several vaccine packing inserts — especially for the MMR vaccine — there are noted cases of the vaccine shedding to healthy individuals. So whether or not your child is vaccinated, that child still is at risk from getting the measles.

If vaccines are so safe, why is there a vaccine injury program that pays out thousands each year? If we are going to have vaccines, these brilliant scientists should figure out a way to get rid of the ingredients that are so problematic and unethical, thoroughly test the vaccines, and prove that they will not cause injury or death.
It is a sad day in society when parents who are acting in the best interests of their child and not getting vaccinated are labeled as biological terrorists, threatened with jail time, or ostracized by school systems and the government.
Parents need to constantly research to make sure that they are doing the best for their child and should not be threatened by federal mandates to vaccinate their children. If this happens, we are no longer a free republic.
