VIDEO: Police Officer Rescues Child From Man With Knife

An Oklahoma police officer saved a little girl from a mad man with a knife – with one extremely accurate shot. The surveillance tape from inside the store where the hero Midwest City police officer used his skills to rescue the child has gone viral. Sammie Wallace, 37, reportedly grabbed the 2-year-old girl from her mother’s shopping cart and held a knife to her throat.

Midwest City Police Department Captain David Huff responded to the 911 call for help at the store. Huff, believing the crying and horrified little girl would be harmed by Wallace, pulled his gun and fired on the man at point blank range – killing him instantly. The knife wielding man had no known connection to the mother or the child. The little girl was safely returned to her mother without injury.
