The late end to winter had a knock on effect for us in May with crops being planted late. But with the improvement in the weather the bees were becoming active, the chicks were put in a hen-house and duck eggs went into the incubator. Potatoes were planted, a poly-tunnel was assembled and the duck pond was drained ready for improving it. Welcome to Self-Sufficient in Suburbia, May 2013
