Cardi B Denied Any Compensation
Cardi B, publicly asserted on November 14 that she received no payment for her appearance alongside Kamala Harris, insisting she personally covered all “glam and travel” costs to attend the event. In her social media exchange with pundit Candace Owens, the rapper emphasized she came “out of pocket” because she believed it was an important place to be, even adding, “That’s on my three,” about her three children.

Cardi B, did not perform any of her music during the Harris campaign stop. Instead, she delivered a ten-minute speech explaining that she originally “wasn’t going to vote” but changed her mind once Kamala Harris decided to run against “bully” Donald Trump.
Concluding her remarks, she addressed Harris directly, thanking her for the invitation and saying she did not “take lightly the call to show up.
