The so-called fiscal crisis in Washington is nothing but politics. Even though Congress and President Obama claim that the country is out of money, politicians on both sides of the aisle seem to be able to come up with money for pet projects. An investigation by Senate Republicans found that the Labor Department had enough funds to spare to promote unions and collective bargaining overseas. Only One-Fourth of Officers believe Army is Headed in the Right Direction

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A recently published survey that was conducted internally in the Army in 2011 shows that only 26 percent of active-duty Army officers believe the Army is headed in the right direction. Many of those surveyed identified “political correctness” imposed by both outside policymakers and senior Army leaders as the driving factor in what they perceived as a decline in their branch of the U.S. military.
