Letters To The Editor

Dear Editor,

My husband and I are very worried about having power for our house and our RV in the event we have to go off grid. We won’t have access to any gas to power the RV or a way to power the house or generator that’s already in there. Can you please tell me how to make solar power generators for our house and RV? Are there portable solar generators that we can just hook up to our house and RV?

Thank you,

L—

Dear L—,

Yes, there are portable solar generators that you can hook up to your RV or use to run appliances in your home. And you also have the option of a unit that ties into the power panel of your home that allows you to switch over to solar power in the event of an outage or just when you want to save on your power bill. This unit, however, is not portable, but is integrated into your electrical system.

And while resources are available online that claim they can teach you how to manufacture your own solar generator, they won’t provide the power generation needed to run basic household appliances or necessities. In addition, if manufactured or put together incorrectly, they can become an electrical fire hazard.

Our parent company, Solutions From Science has been making solar generators for years and has developed an array of generators designed for customers of varying needs. Go to https://www.mysolarbackup.com/ and look at all the different models of portable generators which are available, and order a solar information super-pack that will provide you all the information you need to make an informed choice on the portable solar generator that is right for you.

If you’re interested in a switching station, a whole-house option that ties into your electrical system, then visit https://www.powerstationflex.com/ and look at the newest system offered by Solutions From Science. There is a number and email address on the page that you can call (or write) to get more information on this system.

Thanks for writing!

Dear Editor,

A week or so ago someone inquired about raising meat rabbits. Here is a link that you might consider posting for her and others. I am not the publisher or an affiliate, just another rabbit grower for purposes of food. They helped me get started. Their book, Raising Rabbits 101, was a real big help. Just thought it would help her out. https://rabbitbreeders.us/newsletter/
