CBO Says Taxes Will Rise 30% in Next Two Years: Worst Economic News in 40 Years

According to the Congressional Budget Office the amount of money the federal government derives in taxes from the U.S. economy will rise by more than 30 percent from 2012 to 2014.

In its Budget and Economic Outlook report, the CBO also forecasts the economy will continue to show sluggishness, due in part to higher taxes.
